Rietdijk Stamp and Coin Auctions B.V. processes personal data in order to be able to carry out its objective of selling materials through public auctions. You share personal data with us when you interact with us. For example, your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and bank account number, but also the IP address of your computer. This concerns all data that we can associate with you as a result of contact with each other. We reserve the right to make changes to this statement. 3) Use personal data

We only use your data for the following purposes:

  • Registration to participate in our auctions;
  • Dispatch of paper and digital auction catalogues;
  • Dispatch of paper and digital communications related to our auctions;
  • Sending paper and digital communications relating to purchases and sales;
  • Control of payments of purchases and sales;
  • Addressing notes;
  • Addressing of physical shipments;
  • Complying with requests from tax and legal investigative powers.

For the purpose of processing documents, bids and catalogs also have access:

  • The administrator of RietdijkLive;
  • The manager of Rietdijk’s digital work environment;
  • The manager of the digital advertising campaigns on a cumulative level;
  • The printer of our catalogs with regard to your address details.

Your personal information other than described above will not be shared with third parties.

4) Recordings viewing days and auction room

We would like to point out that, for security reasons, images are taken of all visitors in our building during the viewing days. These images will be deleted (automatically) after 1 month. During the auction, there will also be recordings in the auction room. The camera is aimed at the auction table with the intention of recording the progress of the auction. We want to prevent you from coming into the picture, the camera is set up in such a way that visitors are not recognizable in the picture. However, when you walk forward, that cannot be ruled out completely.

5) Personal data security

We are obliged to properly secure our systems and personal data. We handle the personal data you share with us with care. We resolve and register data leaks. We report them, if desired, to the supervisor and, where necessary, to you. Only the employees of Rietdijk auctions B.V. have full access to all your provided data.

6) Retention of personal data

We do not store personal data for longer than is necessary for the purpose for which you have provided your data, but no shorter than the period that the law obliges us to keep personal data. Exactly how long that is can vary from person to person.

7) Web Analytics

For our web analysis, we have the behavior of visitors on our websites measured and analyzed by our website host. The collected general usage data is only provided anonymized and aggregated by the website host and analyzed by the administrator of digital advertising campaigns on a cumulative level.
