Major Coin Auctions
Rietdijk organizes coin auctions twice a year, usually in June and December, which are among the largest in the Benelux. In the intervening periods, our appraisers collect material for the next auction and prepare it for sale by our specialists.
Big and small entries welcome
The number of entrants is 100 to 150 per auction. It can be a single coin or banknote, but also a full van. All submissions, large and small, are welcome. The only condition we set is that an entry represents at least a value of several hundred euros.
Make an appointment
Make an appointment. An appointment for a valuation is quickly made, the contact details can be found in the left column.
Submit at our office
Your entry for the auction (coins, banknotes, tokens, gold, silver, jewellery, insignia, etc.) can be submitted for evaluation without obligation and free of charge during office hours by appointment. Our appraiser will review the material in your presence and give you a reliable indication of the auction proceeds.
Home visit
If necessary, we visit at home or at another location. If you have an entry of sufficient value, you can submit it for the next auction. In that case, the home visit of our appraiser is also free. If his visit does not lead to a submission, you will pay the usual travel and appraisal costs. These will be refunded if you decide to use our services within six months.
